Description
LT XLPE-insulated power cables are manufactured using aluminium or copper conductors, XLPE insulation and a PVC or equivalent protective outer sheath. They are available in armoured and unarmoured constructions and are primarily used for the transmission and distribution of low-voltage electrical power.
The normal maximum continuous conductor operating temperature for XLPE-insulated cables is 90°C, subject to the applicable cable specification.
